Floodwater release bulletin 
At 2:00PM on Monday, May 23:
  • Grand Lake elevation was 745.75 feet. Daily target elevation for May 23 is 742 feet. 
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, eleven (11) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 15,300 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,768 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 29,068 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 55,957 cfs.
  • Lake Hudson elevation was 619.80 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 21,465 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Four (4) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 26,730 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 48,195 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 30,665 cfs.
  • The United States Army Corps of Engineers has directed GRDA to open an additional floodgate at Robert S. Kerr Dam at 4 PM today.
