Notice of Public Meeting

The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) will hold a public meeting on September 28, 2021, at 9:00 AM for a commercial application in the name of Serenity Point Resort. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public comments regarding the replacement of the ship store and the addition of 8 new slips. GRDA wishes to solicit comments on this proposed project from all interested individuals and businesses. The meeting will be held virtually. The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Authority for its annual comprehensive financial reports for twenty-one consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
