Floodwater Release Bulletin

At noon on Thursday, March 18:

Grand Lake elevation was 746.62 feet.
At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, six (6) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 55,104 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
Five (5) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 11,440 cfs of water through generation.
Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 66,544 cfs.
Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 51,437 cfs.

Lake Hudson elevation was 619.87 feet.
At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, fourteen (14) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 46,830 cfs of water.
Three (3) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 18,900 cfs of water through generation.
Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 65,730 cfs.
Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 75,080 cfs.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Authority for its annual comprehensive financial reports for twenty-one consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
