Floodwater release bulletin

At 2:00PM on Friday, April 29:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 748.85 feet. Daily target elevation for April 29 is 742 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, nine (9) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 30,690 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,513 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 44,203 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 16,783 cfs.

 

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 628.84 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 30,657 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 20,520 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 51,177 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 47,751 cfs.
