Floodwater release bulletin

    At 9:30

    AM on Friday, April 29: 

    • Grand Lake elevation was 749.09 feet. Daily target elevation for April 29 is 742 feet.

    • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, ten (10) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 32,384 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
    • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,661 cfs of water through generation.
    • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 46,045 cfs.
    • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 18,188 cfs.

     

    • Lake Hudson elevation was 629.14 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
    • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 55,963 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
    • Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 20,250 cfs of water through generation.
    • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 76,213 cfs.

    • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 49,873 cfs.
