Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 11AM on Thursday, August 8:

• Grand Lake elevation was 747.79 feet. Daily target elevation for August 8 is 743.50 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, twelve (12) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 48,540 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,178 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 61,718 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 59,649 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 622.27 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 28,846 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 23,760 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 52,606 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 66,923 cfs.
