Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 2PM on Friday, August 2:

• Grand Lake elevation was 745.12 feet. Daily target elevation for August 2 is 744.00 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 510 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,034 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 13,544 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 8,934 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 621.26 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 488 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 24,030 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 24,518 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 13,669 cfs.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers have directed us to close the main gate today at 3PM.

The East gate will remain open at one foot throughout the weekend.
