Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 12PM on Tuesday, July 30:

• Grand Lake elevation was 744.15 feet. Daily target elevation for July 30 is 744.00 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 3,180 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,024 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 16,204 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 14,544 cfs.

 

• Lake Hudson elevation was 620.04 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 468 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 25,110 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 25,578 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 17,078 cfs.

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the forecasted crest is 746.00 feet on Friday, August 2. More gate operations are planned for later today.
