Floodwater Release Bulletin

  At 10:45 AM on Sunday, June 2:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 746.58 feet. Daily target elevation for June 2 is 744.00 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, thirteen (13) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 55,932 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,424 cfs of water through generation. Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 69,356 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 95,965 cfs.

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 627.30 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 55,293  cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 23,490 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 57,852 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 76,667 cfs.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers is now predicting Grand Lake to crest at 748′ on Wednesday, June 5 and Lake Hudson to crest at 627.75’ on Monday, June 3.
