Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 11AM on Saturday, June 1:

 Grand Lake elevation was 745.71 feet. Daily target elevation for June 1 is 744.00 feet. 

At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, thirteen (13) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 48,856 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water. 

Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,561 cfs of water through generation. Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 62,417 cfs.

 Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 91,632 cfs.

 

Lake Hudson elevation was 624.58 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.

 At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgate were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 34,362 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.

 Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 23,490 cfs of water through generation.

 Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 57,852 cfs.

 Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 76,312 cfs.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers is predicting Grand Lake to crest at 750′ on Wednesday, June 5 and Lake Hudson to crest at 631.20 on Monday, June 3. Additional gate operations are planned for tomorrow (Sunday, June 2).
