Floodwater release bulletin

At 5 PM on Monday, April 25:

 

  • Grand Lake elevation was 745.97 feet. Daily target elevation for April 25 is 742 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, eleven (11) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 16,092 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,839 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 29,931 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 116,236 cfs.

 

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 626.40 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 18,008 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Two (2) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 14,310 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 32,318 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 76,153 cfs.
