Floodwater release bulletin

At 3 PM on Monday, April 25:

 

  • Grand Lake elevation was 745.98 feet. Daily target elevation for April 25 is 742 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, nine (9) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 16,128 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,845 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 29,973 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 84,689 cfs.

 

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 625.80 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 17,726 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Two (2) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 14,310 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 32,036 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 72,399 cfs.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers are expecting more gate operations later today.
