Floodwater release bulletin
At 9:00AM on Tuesday, May 31:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 746.99 feet. Daily target elevation for May 31 is 744.00 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, six (6) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 14,364 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,065 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 28,429 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 10,258 cfs.

 

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 622.45 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 6,599 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Four (4) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 28,080 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,679 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 29,882 cfs.
