Floodwater release bulletin

At 10:00AM on Friday, May 27:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 749.20 feet. Daily target elevation for May 24 is 743.73 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, eight (8) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 36,740 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,810 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 50,550 cfs.
  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 26,093 cfs.

 

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 630.47 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 53,679 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
  • Four (4) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 27,810 cfs of water through generation.
  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 81,489 cfs.
  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 54,491 cfs.

more gate operations are planned for later today.
