The GRDA board of directors held a special meeting to address the presence of Blue Green Algae. Although the public is still encouraged to enjoy weekend activities at Grand Lake, the GRDA continues to strongly warn against recreational activities that involve bodily contact with Grand Lake waters. Such activities include: swimming, skiing, using PWCs, using fish cleaning stations and watering lawns with lake water. Toxins from Blue Green Algae can cause illness in humans and can be lethal to pets. Please use good sense and stay out of the water.
