First Lake Hudson Stakeholder Meeting Slated for Tuesday

The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) will hold the first Stakeholder Working Group meeting for the Lake Hudson Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at GRDA Headquarters, 226 W. Dwain Willis Ave. in Vinita. The meeting is open to the public.

The Allowable Use & Land Classification Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Vegetation Management & Permitting Committee at 1:30 p.m.

“We are very encouraged by the level of interest that the public has shown. GRDA believes public participation is critical to the development of a successful shoreline management plan,” said Casey Davis, Assistant General Counsel.

The public is invited to attend all stakeholder working group meetings and will have the opportunity to speak.

“The input of every stakeholder is important to us,” said Davis.
