Floodwater release bulletin
At 9AM on Monday, September 14:
- Grand Lake elevation was 746.25
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, seven (7) floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 13,650 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 11,977 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 25,627 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 37,078 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 622.64 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 7,498 cfs of water.
- Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 23,220 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 30,718 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 26,553 cfs.
The latest crest prediction from the United States Army Corps of Engineers is for a Grand Lake crest of 747 late Tuesday night (September 15). The Corps predicts Lake Hudson to crest today (September 14).
